We will be hiking Mount Mitchell (6,684 ft) in North Carolina. It is the highest peak of the Appalachian Mountains and the highest peak in the Eastern United States. The trail to the Summit will encounter waterfalls, streams, and scenic views. It is around a 13 mile trip spread over 2.5 days.
